Roll & Cut

Terms

These are the terms you agree to when you use Roll & Cut. They are written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to support@rollandcutlabs.com and we will explain it.

Last updated: September 14, 2026. Roll & Cut is a service of Aaron McNulty Software Consulting LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, operating as Roll & Cut. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company.

Agreeing to these terms

You agree to these terms when you create an account. If you do not agree to them, do not create one. If you are using Roll & Cut on behalf of a company, you are agreeing on that company’s behalf and confirming you may do so.

You must be at least 13 years old to have an account, and old enough where you live to enter a contract. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian has to agree for you.

Your account

Give us an address you can actually receive mail at, and verify it when we ask. A password reset sent to your email is the only way we can return an account to you. If you lose access to that inbox, we cannot recover the account, and we will not hand it to someone who cannot prove they own the address.

Each account uses one sign-in method — a password, Google, or GitHub — chosen when you sign up. We do not link them, so if you signed up with Google, keep signing in with Google.

You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

What you may make

Roll & Cut turns what you write into a finished film. You are responsible for what you ask for and for what you do with the result.

Do not use Roll & Cut to make:

  • anything depicting a real, identifiable person without their permission — including making someone appear to say or do something they did not
  • sexual content involving anyone who is, or appears to be, a minor
  • content intended to harass, threaten, defame or deceive a specific person, or to impersonate one
  • content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights
  • material that promotes violence, or instructions for causing serious harm
  • anything illegal where you are, or where you intend to publish it

We screen what you submit and what the pipeline produces, and the model providers we use screen it too. A request can be refused at any point. If a refusal stops a production before it finishes, we do not charge you for work that was not done.

Do not try to break the service — no probing for weaknesses, no scraping, no reselling access, no working around the limits of your plan, and no automating the site outside the documented API.

What you own

The films you make are yours. We claim no ownership of your prompt or of what the pipeline produces from it, and you may use your finished films commercially. To the extent we hold any rights in the output, we assign them to you once the work is paid for.

⚠ One honest limit: in the United States and several other countries, work generated by a machine without meaningful human authorship may not be protected by copyright at all. We can give you everything we have, but we cannot give you a copyright that does not exist. If that matters to your use, take advice on it.

Your films may include stock footage licensed for commercial use, and every film is made with AI models operated by third parties. Those providers’ own terms apply to how their models are used, and we pass through only what we are permitted to.

Films made here carry metadata identifying them as AI-generated. Do not remove it, and do not present a film as unedited footage of real events.

We keep the right to use the software, the prompts we write, and everything behind the service. You get to use Roll & Cut; you do not get a licence to the engine.

Plans and credits

Work is paid for in credits. One credit is one US cent, on every plan and every top-up — there is no plan that buys credits more cheaply than another. A paid plan grants credits worth its full price each month, and what a production costs depends on its length, its finish and the models it uses. You see an estimate before you start and the settled figure afterwards.

Credits do not expire. Whatever you do not use stays in your balance. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for anything except work on this service.

If you delete your account, the credits in it are forfeited. We show you the balance before you confirm. If you have bought credits you have not used and you want to close the account, write to us first — we would rather sort it out than have you lose them.

Paying

Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe’s own pages. We never see or store your card number. Depending on where you are, Stripe or one of its affiliates may be the seller of record for your purchase, in which case your receipt and invoice come from them and their terms govern the transaction itself. These terms still govern your use of the service.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any sales tax, VAT or GST, which is added at checkout where it applies. If you pay in another currency, the conversion is handled at checkout and the rate shown there is the rate you pay.

A paid plan renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, and your plan keeps working until the end of the month you have paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial month.

If you move to a bigger plan, it starts straight away: you pay the new plan’s price that day, its monthly credits are added at once, and your monthly renewal date moves to that day. A move to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal. Either way, the credits you already have stay yours.

If a payment fails we may retry it and may pause your account until it succeeds.

Refunds

Because a production spends real money on the models that make it, credits are used up as work is done and are not refundable once spent. If a production fails through our fault, the credits it reserved are returned to you.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the rights your own country gives you, including any cooling-off period. Nothing here takes those away.

If something has gone wrong, write to us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Where we can sell

Anyone can read this site. We can only sell in countries where we are able to handle the local tax properly, and we cannot sell at all where sanctions forbid it. If we cannot sell where you are, checkout will say so rather than failing silently.

How long we keep your films

Finished films and the files that go with them are available to download for at least 14 days after a production completes, and are then deleted. The same applies to a production that stops without finishing, including one left waiting for your review. We email you a week before the files are deleted and again the day before. Download what you want to keep. Roll & Cut is not a storage service and is not a backup.

What we do not promise

Roll & Cut is provided as it is. We work hard on it, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, that any particular film will meet your expectations, or that a result will be the same twice — these are creative tools built on models that change, and the same prompt can produce different work on different days.

We depend on other companies’ models. If one of them changes, fails or refuses a request, that can affect what we can make for you.

Nothing in this section limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Limits on what we owe

If we let you down, what we owe you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the problem — or, if you paid us nothing, to nothing. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost data.

Some places do not allow limits like these. Where that is true, they do not apply to you.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like, from your account settings. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to abuse the service, or where we are required to. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any credits you bought and have not used.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and we will tell you by email before the change takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, close your account before it applies.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, in the United States, and any dispute belongs in the courts there.

⚠ If you are a consumer somewhere else, that choice does not remove the protections your own country’s law gives you, and it does not stop you bringing a claim where you live. Those rights sit on top of this agreement.

The rest

These terms, together with our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us. If one part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer this agreement to someone else; we may transfer it if the business is sold.
